The meeting “What have we learned, Why it matters, and Where do we go from here” covered learning experiences from 58 grants supported by the USAID-funded Child Blindness Program over the past five years.

USAID’s Child Blindness Program Supports ROP Program at SCEH, India

USAID’s Child Blindness Program (CBP) has been supporting Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) in New Delhi, India, for projects on Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and Retinoblastoma, which have been running successfully.

During the Retinoblastoma Awareness Week (14th - 20th May 2023), the CBP team visited SCEH.

IEF to make select vision centers in India technology-enabled

International Eye Foundation (IEF), USA is working with its seven partners in India to improve the technological capabilities of their select 20 vision centers. This is part of their mission to expand the scope of eye care services at the grassroot level. The project is supported by ALCON Foundation, CSR arm of ALCON, a global leader in eye care. The vision center enhancement program will be carried out over a period of three years.
